Aloha Gang! Well yesterday I had another "Kiss Your Sister Day", with a final record of 6W-6L. The good news, if any, is that I went 2-0 with my first series of BB Teasers. I decided to use them abit more now in College BB, as I feel that the books have for awhile been on top of the BB games and have put out really sharp lines. It showed its strength many times these past weeks as I have lost many games by 1-2pts ATS.
Anyways, I will continue to use whatever means I feel gives me some advantages over the books. And having the ability to change the lines in my favor is one of them. Today, there are many games with important implications riding on their outcomes. But I think I have spotted some situations that are playing in the favor of the teams I have selected today. Lets get to it and see whats up!
5 Unit Play on :
Syracuse +3(LOSE by 5pts ats)
-Unreal, this will be the third time this year that the defending National Champs will be underdogs. Hasn't anyone realized that after their opening lost, they have realled off 13 straight victories. Well until they do, I will continue to ride this Cuse train till it derails. Today, this train will continue rolling along, as Seton Hall has been struggling recently. Not good against the hot Cuse team, especially when they get motivation from being installed as an underdog. Thanks for the gift Vegas.
4 Unit Plays on:
Missouri +2 , Wake Forest -4(buy .5pts)(LOSE SU)
-I know Texas is on a roll of late, but it is their last upset over #4 Wake Forrest that gives me some confidence in this one. I am hoping for a bit of a letdown from Texas after that big upset they had. I am also expecting that Missouri will be able to use theri last thrilling OT victory over Oklahoma as a reason to get excited again. The fans will also help get them motivated as they must also feel maybe this Tiger team has learned how to close out a game and get the win. The number being low as it is also tells me maybe the books are seeing the making of an upset today. Dont get suckered to take Texas, I think thats what they are hoping for.
-Wake Forest will have a tough opponent today. But I have to back them as they have proven to be much more tougher than their last 24 opponents who came to their house. This 24 game win streak at home, is simply to much for me to overlook. Mix this with GT's recent road record of 0-2, and I like it even more. Then add in Wake's last game being a loss, and it shouts out GT is Dead Meat. Well, at least, that is what I am hearing.
3 Unit Play on:
ND -2.5(WIN), Kentucky -3(LOSE by 2pts)
-VaTech does have one of the leading scorers in the country in Matthews, but that hasnt resulted in more wins for them. VaTech simply lacks any other consistant supporting cast to help Matthews out. And today's game with ND, they will see why one man cannot do it all. ND wins this game because they have more than one talented go to guy, and they will be to much for Matthews to outscore by himself. Still, even if somehow VaTech's other players show up to contribute. ND guys are simply just way more talented then them.
-Is Kentucky a sinking ship. I dont think so. In fact, I still think that they are still one of the nations elite. They lost their first SEC game, but that was at home. This game is on the road at Tenn, and so far this year they are 5-0 away from home. Tenn has been playing well lately, but Coach Smith knows they cant afford another Conf lost. Plus, I think he wants get his 300th victory out of the way as soon as possible. The Wildcat players promised to get it for him today. I feel they achieve this by dd's. Note: Kentucky up by 13 at half. Outscored by 13 in the 2nd half.
-Thats it so far Gang. Check back later throughout the day, as I may have 3-4 more plays , that will possibly include half-time plays and 1 Teaser play. Today looks very promising for all. Lets get it done! GL and Aloha CC.
